The Economy

Ok, so everyone knows that the economy is doing bad. What I don't understand is when there is a job posted, and you apply, no one gets back to you. That, yeah, it's bound to happen, but the part I don't get is when, a few weeks later, they RE-POST the same job. And then a few weeks after that, they re-post it AGAIN! Now, I know that I might be over qualified for a position, but dude! If you're ganna keep re-posting it, at least call me in for an interview.
To those of you who have a job, stop bitching about work...at least you're working (and though I have a part time job, at least I have a job so I have to take my own advice). For those of you that are unemployed, something will come your way real soon. Don't give up hope.

Aloha everyone!

How ya’ll doing today? I wasn’t going to blog today because really it’s Mila’s turn but there were a few things I am excited about today. I can’t wait to share it ya’ll!

#1: We have our first Hispanic female Supreme Court Justice, Sonia Sotomayor! Well actually she’s been nominated. If the Senate approves her, she’ll make history by being the first Hispanic ever and second female in the roll joining Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. As a Hispanic female I am proud to have someone like Sonia Sotomayor representing us in such a prestigious role. Someone that grew up in the projects in the Bronx. My people you can be anything you want to be as long as you dedicate yourself ;) ->Read more about Sonia Sotomayor

#2: I was watching the Colbert Report, because the man is hilarious! And he’s doing something pretty darn cool “Support Our Troops BY Supporting Their Children”. So I went on to his site and checked out what it was all about. It’s a classroom project to benefit public school students with parents in the military. I am all for supporting our men & women in the military so I made a donation. And I do hope that you do too!
